As optional module for evaluations, one can enable the notion of assessment reviews. This should only be a flag, visible from the evaluation and from the printed report (checkable).

Assessment review – ‘Assess the assessment’

One of the activities to support quality control of the assessments, are the assessment review sessions organised in consultation with the Education advisor. The goal of these “assess-the-assessment” sessions is to discuss with the lecturer and co-lecturer of the course, the way the courses are assessed and advice lecturers in improving the quality of their assessments. To this end and to help guide the process, a checklist is prepared based on the quality requirements and guidelines stated in the Faculty Assessment Policy: validity, reliability, transparency and efficiency.

When indicated through survey or student feedback, assessment review sessions are organised to investigate and discuss possible insufficiency within a particular exam.
