installed spoofax 0.5.2.93 and create EntityLang sample.

now the window with “example.ent” and the “outline” view are open.
the cursor is in “example.ent”
now I select “Transform” –> “show abstract syntax for selection”
the cursor remains in “example.ent” !!

and if I select now Entity in the “outline” view, I get two bugs:

a) the selection is set in “example.ent”

b) the selection is of course set wrong

it should be set in “example.aterm”

This is probably more of a bug in the framework that takes care of running the transformation. It probably sets most of the things right, but forgets or cannot change the actual focus to the new editor.

This issue still exists in trunk.

Issue does not exists in trunk anymore.
It possibly disappeared when we removed support for automated split windows upon opening a builder result.
