This is not intuitive behavior. For example, when there is a assignment collection COL with assignments a and b

COL has deadline 1 Jan 2016
one student gets extension for assignment b until 10 Jan 2016, and submits at 10 Jan. The last-saved date/submission date for this student’s COL-submission will be set to 10 Jan, thus passing the deadline at the COL level.

Proposed change: Only apply (inherit) deadline at leaf nodes (actual assignments).
