Searching in yellowgrass can be improved in a number of ways:

Preserving the existing default search accessible from the project top button bar, we can add controls to adapt the search on the result page by:

• Adding checkboxes for the fields to search for:
  • issue title (default on)
  • issue description (default on)
  • comments (default on)
  • tags (default on atm)
• Adding radiobuttons for issue status (using faceting):
  • show open and closed issues (default)
  • show open issues only
  • show closed issues only
• Adding controls for sorting:
• ascending/descending
• on issue post date
• on date last change
• relevance based on query matches (default)
• Presenting issue surrogates, being a summary that highlights the query matches in that issue
