Can workshops and sub conferences be allowed to get their own header instead of the same SPLASH header?

For example we have created a header image which we are using for the PLATEAU workshop and we would like to know if we can use that.

I assume others will want to do something like this.

As far as I understand the Onward! conference was going to do something as well. Is this still possible?

Thanks,
Craig

I have also asked the Onward! people if they want a header image too since they are just using the plain default one now.

Thanks,
Craig

Perhaps we can develop a gallery of default styles to choose from.

yes that would be useful.

For workshops. I think we would somehow like to incorporate some aspects of the SPLASH banner too. Not sure how this can be accommodated.

But for now, the app provides the mechanism of uploading a CSS to customize the header (and other elements). We do not have time to do that sort of design at the moment; different priorities. So, we / the conferences should recruit some design talent. In combination with the carousel photo it should be easy to get a decent landing page. See for example the ECOOP’15 site: http://conf.researchr.org/home/ecoop15

Yeah I saw the uploading CSS file for ECOOP 2015 when on a Google Hangout with Nathan Burrow yesterday. That looks good and will work for Onward! now assuming they can provide an image.

I agree not top priority at the moment.
