For PLDI, we have 3 hour tutorials that are structured as 90 minutes, 30 minute coffee break, than 90 more minutes. What’s the best approach for representing this in the scheduling grid? Ideally I’d like to have one event assigned to two session slots, is that possible?

Or should I create one long 3 1/2 hour slot that straddles the coffee break so I can have the tutorial as a single event, or should I have two events for the 1st & 2nd part of the tutorial?

You should be able to plan an event multiple times, thus having a single event scheduled over multiple session slots. Let me know if you have troubles setting this up.

Thanks Elmer. That worked fine.

Actually, when I do this it does “work” in the sense of the program being computed correctly. But it is flagging each of the events as being a possible conflict with the other half of itself. It would be nicer if this wasn’t flagged as a scheduling warning. See attached screenshot of one of the warnings.

Thanks, creating new issue for that :)
