Abysmal performance while adding session chairs to PLDI site

I’m editing the PLDI site, adding session chairs to the sessions in the research paper track. I’m seeing 15-20 second latencies between each action (ie, changing from one session to the next, looking up the session chair, adding the session chair until the “session chair added” pop up appears. Could you take a look at logs and see why the site is so unresponsive?

addendum. the bulk of the poor response times actually seem to be tied to the adding of the session chair to the session. The other operations are only sometimes slow. Adding the session chair is reliably very slow.
