When creating a new conference edition, it should be populated with the standard elements, including:

  • a venue with at least one room
  • a photo in the photo carousel
  • a photo in the photo carousel for the venue
  • a call for papers with submission dates (calculated from date of the conference)
  • an organizing committee (with the requester as member)
  • a steering committee (idem)
  • a default program schedule with sessions
  • etc.

It is fine that these initial data are wrong. It shows that these elements exist, which gives an incentive to correct and then complete them.

The default name for a track when it is the only track of the conference should be the acronym without year for that conference (instead of ‘Research Papers’).
