Currently, the Program page opens at the Detailed Table tab, even when that is empty, but the Session Timeline is not. So, make Session Timeline default when Detailed Table is empty.

I can change this. But when one session is created, you get an detailed page with only one session as default.
Changing the detailed table to display unassigned session-slots will result in a table with many unused session slots. At least, this is what I see for previous conferences, not all session slots get assigned.

Not quite sure what you mean. This looks fine to me: http://2016.splashcon.org/program/program-splash-2016#Session-Timeline

I mean that, as soon as one session is assigned, the Detailed Table won’t be empty anymore, and becomes the landing tab of the page. So then there will be an almost empty tab at page load, while there is much more session info in the session-timeline tab.

I see. For the time being this would be preferred behavior over the current that always chooses Detailed Table.

Closing the issue, the change is already in the repo (not in production yet).
