Setting up a custom or improving the current SIGN-UP text. It would be nice if the description would more strongly emphasize that this registration is not for the conference, but for the conf system. (there’s a chance that some people will misinterpret it, in the current form.)

I think all that is needed is to change the header on the sign-up page to Sign Up instead of Register; otherwise the text already states that sign up is not for paper submission or conference registration.
