In one way or another, it would be good to have either information about what conferences a particular person attended (or will attend), or a link to another page with such information.

Absolutely! That is being planned. Practical problem is that the number of tabs in the profile is too large; where to put this info?! Suggestions welcome.

Publications + Theses + Reviews ⇒ Works

Not sure of the meaning of Bibliographies, might go to either of the above.

Alternatively (a better way if you want to continue on adding metainformation to content), rename Publications to Papers and call Works (from the previous comment) to Publications.

The next step will be then to fish out non-paper publications like books from Papers, but that’s not too much of a problem since they are much more rare anyway.
