You are right. The Calendar tab is only missing in Firefox. In Opera, it
works fine. See screenshots. I was able to add the CFP using Opera.

That is bizar. It works fine on my Firefox (3.6.3) on MacOsX.

I’m suspecting this is a subtle font size CSS bug; the fonts in Opera
look smaller. I guess the Calendar menu disappears under the signed in
box on the right. If you have Firebug installed could you have a look
at the application menubar to see if there is a list item like this
(but don’t bother if you have no clue what I’m talking about).

Yes, the above XML does appear. And hovering over it enabled me to find
the lost Calendar menu. It is hidden just under the menubar, at the
left, directly under the “researchr” text, as if the menubar wrapped.
Hovering the mouse at that location makes the Calendar menu appear
there.
