I currently have two different profiles on researchr.org, with emails pgiarrusso@informatik.uni-marburg.de and paolo.giarrusso@uni-tuebingen.de; the second one was created by a committee chair with a different email. I’d like to merge them somehow.
Moreover, in the longer term, I’d like a way to do that from the interface, and/or to indicate I have an existing account when I get invited with a different email, as allowed by most websites (this will keep happening as I change affiliation).

This relates to https://yellowgrass.org/issue/researchr/242 (why can’t I just type #242? I’m spoiled by GitHub I guess), but it’s a different issue kind.

I’m the poster, unfortunately I didn’t get ownership of the issue even though I registered with the same email.

Noted; I agree that this is badly needed.
