ASM supports 5.0 features, which is important for Dryad. Generics signatures are currently parsed with SDF, which is a hack with truely horrible performance.

The actual Code in a .class file is not used yet, so the definition of the code is allowed to change (although not desirable). Structure should stay the same.

They support a tree and event interface. ATerms cannot be emitted in a stream-based fashion, so I think the tree interface is easier to use.
