Waking from sleep is very slow with Yore running
Steps to reproduce
Start Yore

Go into the game proper (may not be necessary)
Sleep the phone (power button)
Unsleep the phone (power button)
- This takes longer than normal
Unlock the phone
* This takes MUCH longer than normal
Game should be back

Resolved in next build. State is now persisted in a service.
