While the casual gamer in me is very glad you changed portals to go to towns (so I can sell my loot when my inventory fills up), the hardcore gamer in me thinks this isn’t such a good idea, primarily because it takes out all need to make sure you are prepared before entering a dungeon: as long as you have a portal spell, you can easily get more supplies (and getting the gold for another portal spell is fairly easy, only 5 or so items brought back from the dungeon pays for it). Personally, I think the best option is simply to have portals be one-way but still to town.

I take your point, but I’m really aiming at the casual play here. Maybe it can change based on the dungeon, so the harder dungeons don’t take you back to town.
