NixOS evaluation in hydra is going up to 10G memory usage
After enabling the Boehm GC, memory consumption is now down to 1.6 GiB for the NixOS trunk jobset. It should be much less still (a few hundred MiB) but apparently jobs don’t become garbage after they have been evaluated, for some reason.
NixOS in Hydra can now take up to 10G if a pointer is retained to the wrong place. This seems to be a bit non-deterministic, though. Should we reopen this?
