Spoofax should provide, on a per language basis, a configuration UI (in Eclipse > Preferences). Initially this UI should allow the following services to be enabled/disabled:

  • syntactic completions
  • semantic completions
  • reference resolution
  • hover services
  • specific builders
  • global analysis

This is something Spoofax should have anyway. Having this would turn issues like https://yellowgrass.org/issue/Spoofax/808 and https://yellowgrass.org/issue/Spoofax/809 to non-blocking.
