Currently, unrounded grades are used to check against the pass/fail mechanism and used in further computation of parent grades. This does not align with the TU Delft regulation where “component grades”, such as exams, should be rounded before further processing.

In the current situation, a student with (unrounded) grade 4.95 does not pass an exam with minimum to pass 5.0. This is currently not expressible in WebLab. Adding a radio button on the Grade Composition management page (above “Base grade”) allows for this option. The guiding text below should state that it will be rounded to one decimal and it should be shown in the grading log.
