With 2 types of visual grade distribution charts:

  1. Horizontal stacked bar chart of 10(+1) grade ranges per assignment within a folder. Each bar represents the amount of students (percentage) that scored within the specified range (e.g. 4.0-4.99). There may be 1 extra range for the pass/fail cut off point, e.g. 5.0-5.74 and 5.75-5.99.

  2. Line graph which plots the number of students on y-axis per grade range (x-axis).

Grade Distribution Charts offer a visual snapshot of how students’ grades are spread across different assignments. These charts provide valuable insights into overall student performance patterns, highlighting trends such as clustering of grades, disparities, or any unusual grade distributions.
