The discussion feature can be used during exams to communicate with course staff. Suggestion from Christoph: “can we rename the feature? It is unclear to students that this is something that is monitored actively by the course staff and sometimes students are using the field as a ‘motivation’ for their answer, similar to a ‘discussion’ section in a paper”.
