As a TA who keeps the discussion page open a lot, I would like to be notified when a new discussion is created or when a discussion is updated, which would allow me to multitask without having to keep the Discussions page open.

Some suggestions:

• A small ‘ding’ sound
• A change of favicon
• A change of title (for example, (1) TI2606: CPL)
