what is really annoying: in this student submission view, you can see what answer they selected, but not if that is the right answer….
and in the overview you can see if they selected the right answer, but not what question (type)

Good point. However, there are cases where the correct answer should not be visible directly, i.e. when a TA’s screen is possibly visible to students. A button to toggle visibility of the answer would be good here I think

The MCQ options will now be highlighted green/red for correct/incorrect options when showing the result, similar to the view students get when immediate feedback is enabled.
Students will get to see this result when the answer is public (and unlocked when its still open for submission).
Course staff can access the result by clicking a “show result” link, to avoid unintended exposure of the result.
