Hi Elmer.

When I look at a room at the venue I can’t seem to see the events that have been scheduled in the “Overall schedule". This feature seems to work sometimes but I can’t determine how it is turned on or off.

For example when I look at the room (Grand Station 1) where the OOPSLA track is scheduled I can’t seem to see any of the events scheduled in there.

Can you please let me know how that can be resolved and what is going on?

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Elmer,

Argh I don’t believe this has been fixed well at least all the rooms I have looked at seem to have no schedule. Except the following room:

So not sure what is going on there. Perhaps something got reverted back.

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,

Thanks for reporting this. I just fixed it by forcibly reindexing stuff. Turns out that in some cases (e.g. an event is added to a session), the search index was not updated.
This will be fixed in next release.

Another question: Would you like to keep it this way having 2 timelines, one with sessions, one with event details. Or should I drop these and use the detailed timetable view instead? I think the timetable is more usable.

Hi Elmer,

Ok that would be great if that could be fixed. This would certainly be helpful for people like Annabel who organize the events as well.

I am not sure what looks best as I can’t see it to confirm. I would say if you can do all three like in the program then that would at least be consistent e.g table, session timeline, detailed timeline views. I guess make it work and we can then decide. Probably leaning towards the table though.

Thanks,
Craig

HI Elmer,

This still doesn’t appear to show the data though.

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,

Strange things going on here. It works after reindex, but then after some time/action the room data is removed from the index of events/sessions.
I’ll have another look.
