Automatically replace non-ascii characters with sensible ascii replaceme
By the way, if would be great if names with umlauts would not be
crippled in the URLs. An automatic replacement with the accepted
alternative spelling (u=ue,, o"=oe, …) would be a nice improvement:http://researchr.org/profile/gnterkniesel/contributions
