After creating a mysql schema and user with appropriate rights, the mysql connection test fails in the command line wizard for application.ini creation. Tried several times, keeps failing. After manual creation of the config file, the web app works correctly.

ubuntu 12.04, mysql 5.5.31, java 7u25b15

Also seems to happen in eclipse wizard.
