E.g. you mistakenly change the “correct alternative” for a multiple-choice question for a short time while grades are public. The effect would be that anyone that selected that alternative would now get a higher grade, even when you change it back to the original correct alternative after grade calculation is done. Or grades won’t go lower for people who now have a wrong answer.
