Login often results in a 404 error and a corrupted session that doesn’t allow posting issues, comments, and is logged out on some pages. It seems the login problem can be reproduced by disabling the “accept third-party cookies” setting in Firefox, and then logging into yellowgrass at https://yellowgrass.org/issue/WebDSL/299. Then you should get a 404 and two cookies, one with path /issue/.

https://yellowgrass.org/issue/WebDSL/299 is the issue that describes a possible solution to this problem at the WebDSL level. It’s still rather strange that it only occurs with YellowGrass though, and not with researchr.

Indeed, no idea why it only shows in YellowGrass, I cannot think of anything special I use wrt cookies. Apart from the cookie lifetime, I do not think I configured anything out of the ordinary at all.

Well, it might be something introduced in a recent WebDSL version. Maybe it just doesn’t affect researchr yet?

Well, WebDSL/299 has been fixed. Let me know when YellowGrass is upgraded again, then I’ll try logging in without clearing the cookies first.

I will probably upgrade YellowGrass.org to release 1.01 this week. I will let you know when I have.
