Fixed this: It appeared hard to find why the page was loading slowly. Profiling did not clearly display any problems, so I chose to take a different route: The page now loads a small number of releases at start and automatically loads additional releases as the user scrolls down (like Google Reader does). It is quite a user friendly approach to pages with much content, so I will probably integrate it in other parts of YellowGrass as well (such as the all issues overview).
