Dear Elmer,

Recently we had to create some session slots for co-located events (with
ICSE 2020). One problem that we encountered is that all session slots
have to be created by Web Chairs for the main event (ICSE in this case).
I would very much love if researcher.org offers a bit more flexibility.
Specifically, if I trust that co-located events are going to assign
proper events to sessions, then I can as well trust them that they can
create session slots they need. It would be great if you can offer this
flexibility in the future.

The access restrictions in editing the program (based on the privileges someone has) may require some effort to get right.
I’ll try to make some time for this during the summer, but I cannot guarantee any ETA for this change right now. I’ll let you know when it’s done.
