Option to notify contributors when posting news item

The system won’t send notification emails for news items at this moment, but I like the idea of having an option to notify all contributors of a conference about a newly posted news item.
I’ll add this feature request to our issue trackerfollow up suggestion:
Submitted by Elmer van Chastelet on 4 February 2021 at 13:36If possible it would be great that not all news are sent by email to everybody, but that the content person who upload the news can choose by groups (for instance, tracks, or Organising committee, all, etc). So something similar to the filters you have in other features.
