Up to now, we separated the displayed day programs using the conference’s time zone, such that each “conference day” had the same sessions/events for everyone.

However, with (larger) differences between conference time zone and viewed time zone, interpreting the day-programs gets confusing. This was especially the case for many attendees of ICFP’21, which uses the Seoul time zone (GMT+9:00).
We therefore decided to drop the logic of conference dates and not longer use the conference time zone to partition the day programs. The display of the program now fully depends on the time zone set by the viewer (which defaults to conference time zone).
