Original suggestions:

The program is sorted by time in “Detailed Table” view. However, depending on how you filter it (e.g., by selecting “Your Program”) it only sorts the sessions by time. If you have starred one talk in one session at 11:30 and another talk in another session at 11:00, it may sort those two ‘out of order’ because both are in sessions from 11:00-12:30.

I suggest knowing if the sessions were filtered and sorting them based on the first unfiltered event in the session. Thus when you look at your day, they are more or less in temporal order.

Obviously, this can’t be perfect as you might star a talk at 11:00 and 11:50 in the same session, but at least it would place that session before the one with the 11:30 starred talk.

Somewhat related, in “Detailed Timeline” view you could sort the rooms based on the events not filtered so that it reads more top-down and left-to-right based on selected events.
