There was an issue with assignment of session slots to tracks within ICSE 2025. For some reason unknown, the assigned session slot didn’t became available in the mapped track.

Possible causes:

• there was a hidden (copied) track with the same name, and both tracks could not be distinguished or weren’t available in the drag/drop interface (plausible)
• the allowed slots for selection in a Track’s session configuration does not show all available slots (plausible)
• mapping in drag/drop interface being incorrect (very unlikely, we would expect other issues to occur then)
