For profile pictures (in all formats), switch over to the getImage service of conf.researchr.org instead of using webdsl’s built-in action code, which performs unnecessary access control checks, leading to an overhead in sql queries.

And we get cache expire headers by doing this.

The thumbnail pictures (committee pages) are also rather blurry, even if the source picture is good quality.

Please create a new issue for that :)
