HI Elmer,

The DBPL import data from HotCRP feature appears to be broken.

Solved. There was a json import problem, it could not handle authors without a first name.

ok thanks. So the next question is why do the authors not appear per paper since they email addresses and names are included as part of the JSON file.

Thanks,
Craig

What do you mean exactly? The system should suggest the right person when it exists on conf.researchr.org. Did you have cases where the person was in the system, but the conversion wizard did not show it?

so the papers for DBPL are there without abstracts. They have authors but the author profile pages were not created. Perhaps they just need to run the wizard again, which may solve the issue.

Thanks,
Craig
