Fork new edition to get skeleton of tracks and other (attending) items
Instead of manually adding all tracks and items, add some copy (/fork) configuration page to create a new edition based on an existing one.

Admins can create a copy configuration, share the link with a manager of the target edition, and wait for the manager to submit (notification by email).
The configuration lets one check the items to copy.
