For larger conferences, the drag/drop interface may become really large, such that users need to scroll, while dragging.
Proposed improvements:

• easier assignment of a track to multiple slots (if this is too much work to improve, at least hint the user about holding the shift-key to copy a track)
• clicking a cell allows to change the assigned track using a dropdown/modal. However, we may loose information about previously assigned tracks/sessions, which would be preserved (and times shifted) when using drag/drop interface.
• divide days (or rooms) over separate tabs
