Usually the type of a publication can be derived from its formal bib type, but sometimes, a journal article is in fact (should be counted as) a workshop paper (e.g. ENTCS) for the purpose of a CV. On the other hand an LNCS paper might be counted as a journal article in a university publication accounting system. It would be nice to model such situations.
