Having logged in, I wanted to edit the data on the
xxx workshop
(add the deadline extension, and the invited speakers). Alas,
I could not. I get to the editing panel, update the information,
press Save. Then I wait for a couple of minutes; after which the
system shows old data. The changes are lost.

I think I know what might have caused the problem. Yesterday I
tried to add a tag to one of my old papers (as the system prompted me
to). I entered tags, clicked on the plus sign, and waited for a couple
of minutes for the system to time out. After that, the system would
time out on all my edits. Today I tried to add tags again – and again
waited for two minutes. Luckily, the additions were accepted. So, it
might be a locking timeout problem when updating or searching the
database of tags. It would be great to see the existing tags, btw.

Seems be due to inverse relation between Publication and Tag. Needs to be solved at WebDSL level or by changing the data model.
