Citation keys change all the time, breaking citations in papers. Most recently this happened with LindemanKV11. The web page and the bibtex entry for it shouldn’t disappear when someone decides to rename it.

And another one: RichardsonRuby:2007. These things aren’t always easy to find if you only know the old key :/
