One final suggestion: Especially if you where doing your bibs separately so
far, you might have quite a collection of bib-files. A batch-upload feature
would be awesome! Just upload the entire file and then go through each
publication.

Originally the bib entry form did allow upload of multiple publications. However, I’ve discontinued that since it encourages dumping. Since the researchr database contains already a large number of publication, chances are that many publications that people have in their bib files, are already in the database. But I’ll consider a new feature for creating a bibliography from a bibtex file.

In release 50 it will be possible to add an entire bibtex file to a bibliography; the entries will be matched to existing entries in the database. Only if no matching entry exists, is a new publication added. Resolution of bibtex entries is still manual.
